How Hotbend Heat Gun Works

Evans Benders Hotbend works like a jet engine, by mixing propane and air through a four-phase cycle: Intake, Compression, Combustion and Expansion.

This cycle not only produces heat, but also converts some of the heat to kinetic energy. The fan shaped heat of combustion has a speed exceeding 100 mph, mixing immediately with the surrounding air to create a uniform blast of heat at 125,0000 BTU.

The combination of heat and velocity induces forced convection, which helps heat the pipe at lower temperatures, thus eliminating damage to the pipe’s surface.
